With Cait’s love of books, she’s also grown to enjoy formatting them! She offers ebooks, paperbacks, and hardbacks.

Cait uses a combination of Vellum, Photoshop, and Canva for formatting. No AI is used. All genres are accepted. Explanation of headers are below the table, as are samples.

Header Options

Standard premade:

These are headers that are already available within Vellum.

Unlimited POVs. Unlimited revisions.

Custom:

These are made specifically for the book with input from the author. They are created in Photoshop, Procreate, or Canva using stock vectors or images that are licensed. This can include a full background design for the first page of the chapters, art throughout, and forced edges.

Cait can also include illustrated elements*.

There can be up to three different POVs if using different designs for each. More can be added for an additional cost depending on the type of header.

Unlimited revisions during the designing process. If a design is agreed upon, we format the book, and then the author wants it changed entirely, this is allowed once for free. After that, there will be an extra charge to redo everything.

Samples

*Illustrated elements from Cait are drawn by hand on Photoshop or Procreate. They are created individually for each author. She does not reuse them for others, so they will be uniquely yours. Full background designs included at this price are made with stock images or vectors. If an author wants Cait to illustrate a background, there is an additional cost. Please ask for more information.

Turnaround Time & Payment

Turnaround time is based on the amount of custom work requested. Typically, for standard premade headers, Cait asks for 3-5 days. For custom headers and/or artwork, she asks for 1-2 weeks so that there can be communication back and forth to create and settle on a design, but more time may be needed if illustrating.

PayPal is used to send invoices. The first half must be paid upfront, and the rest may be paid once we are finished.
