Design

For as long as Cait has loved books, she has also loved everything art related. Most of her has been spent sketching, painting, or doodling one thing or another. And now, she uses that passion to bring books and characters to life!

Depending on what is requested, Cait uses a variety of tools to create graphics, covers, and character art. She primarily uses Procreate, Photoshop, or Canva Pro, with licensed stock images or vectors from various sites for graphics. Illustrations are done by hand through Procreate or Photoshop. No AI is used. All genres accepted. Examples at the end of each section.

Graphics

• $2 for 1
• $15 for a bundle of 10
• $50 for a bundle of 30

• Logos = $10
• Author branding kit = $30

• Cover reveal kit (week countdown (or 7 other time frames) & reveal) = $15
• Release kit (week countdown (or 7 other time frames) & release) = $15

Types of graphics include but are not limited to logos, banners, book promotion, book release, cover reveal, teasers*, review quotes, etc.

*Authors must supply wording for teasers.

Covers

• Premades = $75-125, individually marked (COMING SOON!)
• Custom (mostly vectors, little to no hand-drawn illustrations) = $125 for ebook
• Custom Illustrated (up to two characters) = $150-250 for ebook, depending on level of details

• Print wraps = $30
• Audio or Vella version if Cait already made an ebook cover = $15

• $25 off of the last book in a series!

*Art for The Pizza-Pyre cover was provide not illustrated by Cait. She added the text, put it all together, and altered it to create the back of the paperback.

Illustrations

Simple characters:

These are popular for romance covers.

• 2D, simple details, full body, no face = $25 for 1, $40 for 2
• 2D, simple details, full body, with face = $35 for 1, $60 for 2
• 2D, more detailed = $50 each

Detailed characters:

These are good for book merch and swag.

• Waist up, simple background = $75 for 1, $125 for 2
• Full body, simple background = $100 for 1, $175 for 2

• Waist up, more detailed background = $125 for 1, $200 for 2
• Full body, more detailed background = $150-250 depending on how much is wanted in background

• Background, no character = $50-100 depending on details

• For full scene art with characters, or more complicated poses and backgrounds, prices may be discussed.

*Authors are given full commercial use of character art. Once the illustration is done and sent, the author may use it for anything they want.

Turnaround Time & Payment

Turnaround time is based on the type of art. Typically, Cait asks for a week per character and a week for a detailed background to account for communication with the author and making edits. She offers unlimited revisions within a reasonable amount (if she has to redo the entire illustration, for example, a fee may be added).

PayPal is used to send invoices. The first half must be paid upfront, and the rest may be paid once we are finished. A payment plan may be discussed as well.
